The main purpose of this role is to provide leadership to the testing function within the Online Applications capability\/team, both in terms of people management and also testing strategy. The testing function is responsible for co-ordinating and executing systems testing and UAT on all internally and externally developed services.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re looking for a testing specialist and strong team leader for the test management of various projects managing testers within 8 different agile scrum teams.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Defining test strategies\/plans for projects<\/li>\n<li>Facilitation of inter-team communication across many agile projects<\/li>\n<li>Presenting an aggregate view of testing utilisation to high level management<\/li>\n<li>Personal support, mentoring, and professional development for testers<\/li>\n<li>Coordinating the test\u00a0teams and monitoring their performance<\/li>\n<li>End-to-end Test Coordination<\/li>\n<li>UAT Test Management<\/li>\n<li>Following up any\u00a0outstanding open test risks \/ issues<\/li>\n<li>Managing the gathering\u00a0and interpretation of test results<\/li>\n<li>Compiling test metrics\u00a0for management<\/li>\n<li>Identify test\u00a0approaches that optimise the delivery schedule<\/li>\n<li>Planning and estimating<\/li>\n<li>Supplier documentation\u00a0review<\/li>\n<li>Formal documentation\u00a0review meetings (requirements &amp; design)<\/li>\n<li>Resource estimation<\/li>\n<li>Defect Management<\/li>\n<li>Production of Test\u00a0Closure Reports and chairing of Exit Meetings<\/li>\n<li>Day to Day management\u00a0of Testers<\/li>\n<li>Third party test team\u00a0management<\/li>\n<li>Test Automation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As Senior Tester, you\u2019ll also act as an interface to the business, Digital and IT Relationship Management teams, engage and collaborate with stakeholders, Project Managers, Analysts, Developers to ensure good communication and understanding with the business. You\u2019ll need to engage and assist testers to ensure test plans and activities are high quality and are used effectively.<\/p>\n<p>Our clients pioneering research has helped double survival rates in the last 40 years.
